" Used HI-Life here on a Saturday night. The restaurant is part of the Marriot hotel. Two of us had starter, desert & main course. Starters were ok. The steaks for main were very good and from the Bolton Abbey Estate. Only needed one portion of chips between two. Deserts were ok - the cheese board was fab & a meal in itself. Service throughout was very good. A nice meal and great to be able to use the card on a Saturday night. Like a lot of hotel restaurants you would probably be disappointed if you were paying full price as the bill came to around £75 (without Hilife would have been c. £125!) Generally a nice meal and Only grumble - the wine is very expensive (£24 for an average Hardy´s shiraz with screw top) starting around £20. mick "
