Room is a unique, modern restaurant and cocktail bar located on King Street in the centre of the commercial and shopping district of Manchester.The menu is based on classic dishes all produced with a contemporary twist. Think prawn cocktail, liver and onions and Black Forest Gateau all recreated the Room way. Their modern, British, unpretentious style and the attitude of the friendly and knowledgeable team of 'table hosts' will make your time here an enjoyable and memorable treat.

" I visited Room last night and it was the first time i´ve used my Hi-Life card. Can´t praise it enough. Food was absolutely. Managed to snaffle a couple of cocktails and a bottle of wine in the happy hour. Service was brilliant, will DEFINITELY be returning. "

" Room - Highly Recommended! When we booked on the telephone the girl was delightful, we told her that we would have two Hi-Life cards and she was cool with that. From when we arrived the service was excellent, we had a few minutes to order cocktails on their half price offer and as we couldn´t decide she suggest a bottle of wine, half price, a very good start to the night. The waitress was marvelous explaining how each dish would arrive at the table, the dishes are what they describe as de-structured, a new concept for us but fabulous. One of the party is a vegetarian and they did one of the main courses as a started to accommodate him, she really went out of her way to be helpful. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was buzzing, we would definitely recommend Room and with the Hi-Life card it made a big difference to the bill. HIlary. "

" The cocktails in this place are arguably the best in Manchester and I frequently start the night here with the girls. However, I find the food a bit pretentious. There is never a great amount on your plate and their version of the dish never quite meets expectations! Its all a matter of opinion though I suppose. "
